FSTTCS 2024 · Call for Support

Foundations of Software Technology and Theoretical Computer Science (FSTTCS) is the premier international computer science conference in India, and takes place each year in December since 1981. It is a forum for presenting original results in foundational aspects of Computer Science and Software Technology and is organised by IARCS, the Indian Association for Research in Computing Science, in association with ACM India.

FSTTCS is one India’s longest-running international conferences. The venue has a strong tradition of attracting high-quality research developments, and is typically attended by established researchers, early career faculty, and students both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The conference is known for its competitive acceptance rates and high-quality technical program.

44th FSTTCS at IIT Gandhinagar

FSTTCS 2024, the 44th edition, is a three-day event that will be held in IIT Gandhinagar during December 16–18, 2024. It will also feature various pre- and post-conference workshops, and invited talks from eminent researchers from all over the world, including, in particular:

  2. Suguman Bansal, Georgia Institute of Technology
  3. Ioannis Caragiannis, Aarhus University
  4. Dmitry Chistikov, University of Warwick
  5. Uriel Feige, Weizmann Institute
  6. Sebastian Siebertz, Universität Bremen

Apart from these invited talks and contributed talks, the conference will also feature:

  • several pre- and post-conference workshops on foundational topics in computer science, including issues of fairness and transparency in algorithm design, and research highlights in programming languages,
  • ACM-India PhD Clinic sessions, a mentor-mentee matching program organized by ACM India,
  • a poster session for graduate students to present their wrork to the community,
  • a conference dinner along with various informal networking opportunities,
  • a cultural program.
